As the name suggests, we are a hub that helps identify needs in our community and assists in connecting those needs to financial resources, volunteers with a unique skillset to help, or other Nonprofit Organizations that are better suited to help. We focus our efforts on food insecurity, housing, and transportation needs.

Financial Resources

Some needs in our community are financial based. The following Programs are designed to help address these types of needs: Rental Assistance, Utility Bill Assistance, and Emergency Short-Term Housing.

In addition to these Program, we have the unique ability utilizing our fundraising platform to run a fundraising “Campaign” where people in the community can pitch in to help raise funds for the Recipient. These donated funds are fully tax deductible to each Donor. All funds raised during a Campaign go to the Recipient in the form of a grant or scholarship as defined by the IRS, and repayment by the Recipient is not expected.

Campaigns are driven by an Application process followed by a thorough due diligence process before a Campaign is approved. If a Campaign is approved and successfully funded, a stringent process is in place to decide on how the funds are released to help meet the Recipient’s need. Visit the I have a Need page to request assistance or the Campaigns page to see ongoing Campaigns.

Non-financial Resources

Some needs in our community are more “practical” based. The following public-facing Programs are designed to help address these types of needs: Helping Hub Food Boxes, Backpacks for Homeless, Bus Passes.

These needs might also include connecting the Applicant with other resources in our network of connections that are better suited to directly help the Applicant. Visit the I have a Need page to request assistance or the Get Involved page to join our Volunteer email list.
