Helping Hub Food Boxes
The Food Boxes program was designed to help address food insecurity in our community. Throughout the year, we partner with local Businesses and Community Service Organizations to host Food Drives. The food is organized into small boxes that contain an assortment of non-perishable food items. These boxes are available to anyone in the community that needs one or would like to carry a food box in their car to distribute to someone in need. We are always accepting donated food items as well as grocery store gift cards. Backpacks for Homeless
A backpack provides significant benefits to those experiencing homelessness. It helps keep their personal belongings safe and gives them a way to carry around much of what they own with them. Backpacks for Homeless are filled with essential items such as non-perishable food items, a reusable water bottle, first aid kid, sunscreen, hygiene kit, RTD bus passes, and during the winter, items such as hand warmers, winter hat, an emergency blanket, socks, and gloves.
