Not only are our programs directly helping those in need, but they’re also empowering people in our community by extending the way THEY provide help. This compounding impact is one of the most exciting parts of our programs!

Q: How are my donated funds utilized?

A: Since Colorado Helping Hub is entirely volunteer based, we have very little overhead. This results in every donation being directly utilized for our programs. If you’re familiar with our programs, you likely know about our public-facing programs such as Food Foxes and Winter Backpacks for Homeless. Depending on the amount of donated supplies we receive for these programs, we often need to purchase large quantities of particular items to make up for the shortfall. We also operate several behind-the-scenes programs in our community that provide assistance to people wishing to remain anonymous throughout the process. These programs include Rental Assistance, Utility Bill Assistance, Gas Station gift cards, Grocery Store gift cards, and Emergency Short-Term Housing. These programs are all financial-based assistance, so we rely on financial donations to continue providing these vital resources to our communit
